The shorter vanity invite discord.gg/grainrot currently resolves to a server named GRAIN ROT whose description identifies it as the official community server. If an invite ever changes, return to Steam rather than trusting a copied link from an unrelated search result.

Include your region or time zone, language, whether you are new or experienced, the number of open spots, and whether you prefer voice chat. Add a short goal such as first-run learning, relaxed Outpost progression or deeper extraction attempts. Never post personal contact details; move the final group into Steam and Discord's normal account tools.

GRAIN ROT co-op uses player-hosted Steam lobbies. After the group is ready, one person hosts and sends Steam invitations to players who own the game. The official FAQ evidence used by this site says there is no public matchmaking, so finding people in Discord and joining the game are two separate steps.

Pick a rally point, decide when the crew will process noisy loot, and say whether friendly dropkicks are welcome. GRAIN ROT deliberately allows physics-driven trolling, but an LFG run works better when expectations are explicit. For a new group, keep the first goal simple: one extraction and one Outpost upgrade rather than the deepest possible run.
